With over two decades in various service delivery and management roles in the oil and gas and aviation sectors, A versatile administrator and Logistic Management Specialist with a mixed rewarding career in the private and public sectors. Nuhu is a Senior Partner at Travelinn Ltd, a leisure and Travel Management Company. He had earlier managed the aviation and logistics business unit of a leading international logistic and infrastructure conglomerate, Intel Nigeria Ltd. with responsibilities spanning integrated management of the group’s air, land, Security and government relation within a Shared Services Department while managing relationships with regulatory authorities, Government and host community relationship, 3rd party vendors, original equipment manufacturers (OEM), Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMOs), amongst other critical stakeholders. He led the bidding, selection, negotiation, execution and completion of 5 business Jet inspection and maintenance inputs in different facilities (local and international) leveraging knowledge and attaining optimum value for his subsidiary.
Nuhu previously led the Government Relations at Virgin Nigeria Airways. He started his aviation career with Harco Aviation as a Flight Operations Officer. He developed leadership and People Skills while functioning in several roles as General Manager, Business Development/ Team Lead of West and Central Africa World Bank Assisted Project at Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria. Nuhu, while working in the office of the Vice President Pan Africa Parliament, collaborated closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders including civil societies, development partners and government that ensured the establishment of the Regional Office of the Pan African Parliament in Nigeria.
Hosting of Members of PAP for the 3rd Ordinary Session of 2nd Parliament, Pan African Parliament in commemoration of Nigeria at 50, played important and influential roles in the strategy planning, development and coordination of all communications programs to support targets. He developed, managed and analyzed public relations to elevate the office in key segments and drive differentiation, including programs that raise media feasibility of the office of the Vice President Arranged customs and other "courtesies of the port" for visiting foreign officials.
Planned and executed detailed programs for the Vice President and accompanied the VP during official travels in and outside the Host country for election observing mission, inaugurals, funerals, weddings, Independence Day celebrations, and similar ceremonies abroad, including the Vice President's and the bureau officials' events at the African Union headquarters. Researched and provided strategic input in key written materials and legislative and political initiatives. He was a member of Presidential envoy under the leadership of Senator Victor Ndoma – Egba, SAN and a Campaign strategist for the successful election of the First Vice President and a Nigerian as the President of the Pan African Parliament headquartered in Midrand, South Africa.
Nuhu holds a first degree in Sociology from the University of Ilorin. He is a Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (Chartered). He holds a master’s degree in Sociology from the University of Lagos,
Nuhu has facilitated in several domestic and international fora like The Nigeria Oil & Gas Trade and Investment Forum held in the Onne Oil & Gas Free Zone, Airport Council International (ACI Africa) conference in Cairo, Egypt and Arusha Tanzania respectively, First Ordinary Session of the Third Parliament in Midrand, Aviation Africa Conference, African Business Travel Association, FAAN National Aviation Conference, amongst others.
Nuhu is a board of trustees’ member of Umakhafe Steering Committee (USC). An organization established for empowerment, advocacy and entrepreneurial re-orientation of the youth in the region.
He is a lover of adventure, travels and the outdoors. He is married to Olanireti and blessed with three children.
